We get to know dogs on an individual basis and keep them with other pups that have the same energy level and social skills. Puppies will transition from group to group as they grow. There are three group colors we use:
Blue: These are very low key, older dogs, small dogs that just want to catch some rays and sniff around. There is some play when we have a younger group of smalls or puppies.
Green: Medium to large adolescent pups that play and play and play. They generally don't have any concept of personal space and don't care. They just want to play!
Yellow: Shy, scared, new, aggressive and unpredictable pups fit into this category. Dogs with this designation go out by themselves or with their siblings. The first three mentioned may eventually be transitioned to the other groups as they get comfortable with us and their surroundings.
